On June 10, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee agreed on the policy of establishing Do Lang II Industrial Cluster in Nghi Lam commune, Nghi Loc district, with a total investment of nearly 950 billion VND.
Do Lang II Industrial Cluster is invested by MKH Nghe An Industrial Cluster Development Joint Stock Company, with a scale of about 75 hectares, operating term of 50 years. The project is planned as a multi-industry industrial cluster, prioritizing the attraction of clean, environmentally friendly sectors such as: production of electronic components, electrical equipment, precision mechanics, textiles, wood furniture, construction materials, etc.
The industrial cluster will be invested in synchronous technical infrastructure in a modern - green - clean direction, ensuring infrastructure linkage inside and outside the cluster, creating favorable conditions for businesses to produce and do business stably and long-term.
Nghe An Provincial Party Committee also agreed to change the purpose of using 60 hectares of rice fields to implement the project. According to the plan, from the second quarter of 2025 to the first quarter of 2026, investment preparation will be carried out; the infrastructure construction and exploitation phase will last from the third quarter of 2026 to the end of the third quarter of 2029.
The formation of Do Lang II Industrial Cluster is part of the province's industrial planning strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2050, aiming to increase land use efficiency, promote industrial development, create jobs and increase local budget revenue.
Currently, Nghi Loc district has 2 established industrial clusters, Truong Thach (12.5ha) and Nghi Dien (63.17ha), in which Truong Thach cluster has completed infrastructure and filled 100% of the area.
