On March 20, information from the People's Committee of Nghe An province said that it had just issued a decision to establish the Vinh City Cemetery Board, on the basis of merging the Cua Lo Town Cemetery Management Board (old) and the Vinh City Cemetery Board.
Vinh City Cemetery Board has 2 headquarters. Headquarters 1 at 127, Le Hong Phong Street, Hung Phuc Ward, Vinh City; Headquarters 2 at 215, Nguyen Sinh Cung Street, Dien Bien block, Nghi Huong Ward, Vinh City.
The Vinh City Cemetery Board is a public service unit under the Vinh City People's Committee, operating under the financial autonomy mechanism according to the provisions of Decree No. 60/2021/ND-CP dated June 21, 2021 of the Government; subject to the comprehensive direction and management of the Vinh City People's Committee.
The Vinh City Cemetery Department has the function of managing cemetery work in Vinh City (Vinh City Martyrs' Cemetery; City Cemetery in Hung Loc Ward; Cemetery in Nghi Huong Ward); providing funeral and cemetery services according to requirements, contracts with organizations and individuals; carrying out excavation and relocation of homeless graves according to requirements of competent authorities or according to contracts for site clearance.
The leaders of Vinh City Cemetery Board include the Head and no more than 2 Deputy Heads of the Board. The staff and number of personnel working at Vinh City Cemetery Board are determined based on assigned functions, tasks, job position projects and civil servant structure according to professional titles approved by competent authorities.
When the merger was first announced, the number of employees of the Vinh City Cemetery Board was 10, including 2 current employees of the Cua Lo Town Cemetery Management Board (old) and 8 current employees of the Vinh City Cemetery Board (old).
