On October 5, Mr. Le Hong Vinh - Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee said that the locality is urgently deploying emergency support for people affected by storm No. 10.
Accordingly, each commune in the province will be supported with 2 billion VND from the Nghe An Provincial Fund for the Poor and Relief Mobilization Committee. This amount of money is to help localities have funds to handle emergency situations, support people in areas with deep flooding, landslides and heavy damage.
In addition, essential goods such as food and drinking water are also being distributed to affected households.
Notably, Nghe An province has also received a budget of 500 billion VND from the Government to support people to overcome the damage. The province has requested communes to urgently compile statistics and review the level of damage to each household, thereby allocating timely support.
In addition to material support, the province has mobilized forces to vulnerable areas to help people clear mud, rebuild houses, clear drainage ditches, and repair landslides.

Consecutive storms No. 8, 9, 10 and floods caused by the storm have killed 19 people and many people are missing. Many houses and production and business establishments had their roofs blown off and suffered heavy damage. People across the northern and central mountainous provinces are struggling to cope with floods and heavy losses in human lives and property due to floods and thunderstorms.
