According to the Organizing Committee, the National Press Award 2025 has the participation of 20 inter-associations, 33 affiliated branches and 34/34 Provincial and City Journalists Associations. This affirms that the National Press Award continues to be a highly attractive award, receiving attention and positive response from Journalists Associations at all levels.
The organization work at most levels of the Association is implemented in a regular and effective manner. According to statistics from the General Secretariat, in 2025 there were 1,752 works submitted through the preliminary round at all levels of the Association to participate in the award, of which 143 works had the participation of authors who are not members of the Vietnam Journalists Association.
The General Secretariat has preliminarily selected 60 works, selecting 1,692 works that meet the conditions to participate in the preliminary round according to regulations.

Print newspapers have 3 groups of awards: News, articles reflecting, interviews: 196 works; Editorials, comments, specialized articles: 124 works; Reports, investigative reports, journalistic notes, notes: 145 works.
Press photos have 1 group of awards: Single photos, group photos, photo reports: 115 works.
Radio has 2 groups of awards: News, reflective articles, interviews, comments, essays: 31 works; General radio programs, talks, reports, documentary reports, investigative reports: 126 works.
Television has 3 groups of awards: News, reports: 195 works; Commentary, essay, exchange, seminar: 35 works; Documentary, television chronicle: 119 works.
Electronic newspapers have 2 groups of awards: News, articles reflecting, interviews, comments, seminars, online exchanges: 263 works; Reports, investigative reports, journalistic notes, notes: 162 works.
Multimedia journalism has 1 group of awards: Infographic, video clip, podcast, livestream: 158 works.
Creative journalism has 1 group of awards: Works, products, creative journalism programs: 23 works.
In which, the groups of radio, television, electronic newspaper, multimedia journalism and creative journalism awards are monitored and judged through the software of the Vietnam Journalists Association.
