On the morning of February 6, a leader of Hong Loc Commune People's Committee informed that in the early morning of the same day, in Thuong village, Hong Loc commune, 3 people were found dead in a closed room.
The identities of the victims include: Ms. N.T. H (26 years old), a 2-day-old newborn baby girl who is Ms. H's child, and N.T. V (24 years old, Ms. H's younger sister).
The scene has a charcoal stove used for heating. Immediately after receiving the information, Hong Loc Commune Police coordinated with professional units of Ha Tinh Provincial Police to blockade the scene to investigate the cause.
According to suspicions, it is likely that the victims burned charcoal in a closed room, so they were poisoned by CO gas.
