On January 4, the Da Nang City Military Command (CHQS) completed and handed over 1 house to the household of Mr. Trinh Tan, residing in Dong Hoa ward, Dak Lak province. This is the first house to be inaugurated and handed over among 7 houses in Dak Lak province that Military Region 5 assigned to the Da Nang City Military Command to directly undertake the new construction.
Visiting, encouraging and directly handing over the house to the family, Colonel Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Political Commissar of the Da Nang City Military Command, visited and shared the difficulties that the family had experienced due to natural disasters; and at the same time wished the family to soon stabilize their lives, feel secure in working and producing in a new, spacious and solid house.
Mr. Tan's house is built on old land, with an area of 6.5x14m, with a total support cost of 170 million VND from the State budget, combined with 100 million VND from family savings. Da Nang City Military Command supports all labor, main materials such as construction bricks and directly organizes construction. The project started on December 3, 2025 and was completed 11 days ahead of schedule, ensuring technical, artistic and safety quality requirements.
At the handover ceremony, Military Region 5 presented the family with 1 bed and 1 rice cooker; Da Nang City Military Command presented additional essential household items including fans and wardrobe, contributing to helping the family stabilize their initial life.
Currently, 275 houses in Da Nang city and the remaining houses in Dak Lak province are being painstakingly constructed day and night by officers and soldiers of the City Military Command, racing against time, determined to complete and hand over on schedule and exceed the set schedule, so that people can soon stabilize their lives and feel secure to welcome the Lunar New Year in new, spacious and solid houses.
