On the afternoon of July 30, the People's Council of Hai Duong Ward (Hai Phong City) held the second session, term I, 2021-2026. The session took place in a serious and democratic atmosphere, demonstrating the high sense of responsibility of the delegates towards the voters. Based on a comprehensive assessment of the actual situation, the Ward People's Council discussed and voted to pass 8 important resolutions, specifically:
Resolution on the results of implementing socio-economic development tasks in the first 6 months of the year, key tasks in the last 6 months of 2025.
Resolution approving the 2025 public investment plan and the 2021-2025 medium-term public investment plan.
Resolution on state budget revenue, local budget revenue and expenditure and budget allocation plan for 2025.
Resolution on converting and renaming residential areas into residential groups in Hai Duong ward.
Resolution on temporary assignment of staff, number of employees and labor contracts in agencies and units under the ward.
Resolution promulgating Working Regulations of the People's Council, Standing Committee of the People's Council, Committees, Delegation Groups and delegates of the Ward People's Council.
Resolution on the Regulations on citizen reception of the People's Council Standing Committee and People's Council delegates.
Resolution approving the Supervisory Program of the Ward People's Council until the end of the term.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Pham Cong Quan - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council affirmed that the resolutions adopted are documents with orientation, creating an important legal foundation to effectively implement the goals and tasks in the coming period.
Mr. Pham Cong Quan suggested that the Ward People's Committee urgently develop a plan, concretize the contents of the resolution with practical action programs, suitable for the actual situation. At the same time, promote the supervisory role of the People's Council Standing Committee, departments, groups of delegates and each People's Council delegate to promptly detect, adjust, and ensure the implementation of policies in the right direction, close to the people and work closely.
In addition, People's Council delegates need to actively maintain contact with voters, grasp and honestly reflect the recommendations and expectations of the people; at the same time, propagate and mobilize people to participate in effectively implementing socio-economic development tasks, building a civilized lifestyle and urban discipline.
The second session of the Hai Duong Ward People's Council has completed the entire set program, marking an important step forward in the activities of the first term People's Council at the new administrative unit after the merger.
This is also a testament to the solidarity and consensus of the entire political system and people in building Hai Duong ward (Hai Phong city) to develop stably and sustainably.
