missing fishermen in Dak Lak rescued after more than a day of drifting

Dak Lak - The authorities have supported the safe bringing to shore fishermen who have been drifting at sea for more than a day.

On August 13, the People's Committee of Xuan Dai Ward, Dak Lak Province informed that fisherman Tran Ngoc Thach (53 years old, residing in the locality) had just been rescued after 24 hours of drifting at sea.

According to initial information, on the afternoon of August 11, Mr. Thach and two other fishermen were fishing in the waters of Gia Lai province when their boat broke, forcing all three to swim on their own.

The two fishermen were discovered by another boat and rescued to shore safely. Mr. Thach was missing and has not been found.

On the afternoon of August 12, after more than 24 hours drifting at sea, Mr. Thach was discovered and rescued by a fishing boat and was helped by the authorities to return to shore.

According to the People's Committee of Xuan Dai Ward, Mr. Thach was found in the waters of Quang Ngai Province. He is currently in stable health and is on his way home.
