People affected by natural disasters receive support gifts before Tet

Quang Tri - The province will allocate and present 1,780 gifts to people affected by natural disasters.

On January 20, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province confirmed that it had received VND 890 million donated by the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV) Quang Tri Branch.

The above amount is sponsored by BIDV Vietnam to support people affected by natural disasters.

Mr. Dao Manh Hung - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province - informed that 890 million VND will be divided into 1,780 gifts (500,000 VND/gift) to support workers, people and relatives of soldiers on duty at Con Co island who suffered damage due to natural disasters.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province will coordinate with the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Tri province and localities to provide support before Lunar New Year 2025.

It is known that in 2024, Quang Tri province was affected by many storms, leading to flooding and causing heavy damage to people.
