At the conference, Mr. Tong Van Bang - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor announced the decision to merge the Policy - Law Committee and the Labor Relations Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The name after the merger is the Policy, Law and Labor Relations Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

The conference also announced the decision of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on the merger of Office B - the General Confederation of Labor Guest House and the General Confederation of Labor Guest House. The name after the merger is the General Confederation of Labor Guest House; announced the decision to merge the Office and the Foreign Affairs Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The name after the merger is the Office of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
The functions, tasks, organizational structure, and staffing of the merged units shall be implemented in accordance with the regulations of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. These decisions shall take effect from January 20, 2025.
The conference announced the decisions of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to appoint Mr. Nguyen Duc Thinh - Member of the Presidium to hold the position of Chief of Office of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; to appoint Ms. Vu Thi Giang Huong - Member of the Presidium to hold the position of Head of the Propaganda and Women's Union Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; to appoint Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Ha - Member of the Presidium to hold the position of Head of the Law and Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen Manh Ha to hold the position of Director of the General Confederation Guest House; to transfer and appoint Mr. Le Cao Thang to hold the position of Director of the Institute for Strategic Studies and the Labor - Trade Union Magazine.
In his speech assigning tasks, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang welcomed and highly appreciated the efforts of the merged units. The President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor directed the merged units to carry out their tasks based on their functions and tasks, without interrupting the ongoing work.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang suggested that after the conference, leaders of the newly merged units should immediately start implementing the work; at the same time, carry out the arrangement and streamlining within the unit, ensuring the unit is lean, compact, strong, effective and efficient.
