The propaganda campaign was attended by more than 150 officers, border guards, police, local departments, organizations, people, fishermen, ship owners, captains, etc. on Kien Hai island district.
The Border Guard's specialized officers have analyzed more clearly so that people can understand about fighting IUU fishing, the impacts and consequences if Vietnam cannot remove the yellow card, if the European Committee (EC) bans the import of Vietnamese seafood products into the European market...
The People's Procuracy of Kien Giang province also propagated to the people to identify acts considered smuggling, trade fraud, illegal entry and exit, occupation and protection of coasts and beaches. Do not participate in or assist in smuggling activities, trade fraud across borders, illegal entry and exit. Acts of resisting law enforcement officers, illegal transportation of goods and forms of punishment according to the provisions of law.
Things people need to comply with to contribute to effectively preventing illegal seafood exploitation, smuggling, trade fraud, illegal immigration, occupation, and protection of coasts and beaches.
Call on all citizens to actively participate, join hands, join forces, and unite to establish many crime prevention teams, security protection teams for hamlets, villages, neighborhoods, etc. Proactively prevent, protect, and teach children to stay away from social evils, especially drugs and banned substances.

We focus on commanding and directing the timely detection of networks and subjects to identify, propagate, prevent, and repel illegal activities, maintain political security, order, and social safety in the area.

Prevent and combat smuggling, trade fraud, illegal entry and exit, human trafficking and end the occupation and protection of coastlines and beaches. This will contribute to removing the yellow card for the fisheries industry," Colonel Huynh Van Dong emphasized.
