Launching a large-scale agricultural investigation
Speaking at the launching ceremony of the 2025 Agricultural and Rural Census (APC) held on July 1 in Tho Phu Commune (Thanh Hoa Province), Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong - Director of the Statistics Office said - this is one of three large-scale national statistical census.
The successful organization of the 2025 State of the Environment Launching Ceremony in Thanh Hoa is of great significance in propagating and raising people's awareness of the role and responsibility in providing complete and accurate information to the General Investigation.
The launching ceremony also helps leaders at all levels and the entire political system in the province understand the importance of the general investigation, direct the implementation of the general investigation well, and contribute significantly to the success of the local general investigation" - Director Nguyen Thi Huong emphasized.
According to Mr. Dau Thanh Tung - Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - clearly realizing the great significance of the general investigation, in the past time, Thanh Hoa province has actively implemented preparation work.
"The Steering Committees of the General Investigation at all levels are strengthened, assigned clear tasks; develop a detailed plan, ensure progress" - Mr. Tung emphasized.
Sharing more at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that in the past time, the province has organized many training courses on investigation skills for investigators and supervisors in all districts, towns and cities. The training not only provides knowledge about investigation methods and interview skills, but also guides the use of electronic devices and modern data collection software to ensure the quality and accuracy of investigation information.
Ready to conduct a field investigation
As the commune chosen as the launching location, Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh - Chairman of Tho Phu Commune People's Committee said - in the past time, Tho Phu commune has done a good job and completed some stages in the preparation for the general investigation.
"Up to now, the steps of preparing for the on-site investigation have basically been completed. After this launching ceremony, the Investigators and the Investigation Team Leader will go to the area and go directly to each household to interview and record the investigation documents" - Mr. Thanh said.
According to Mr. Le Xuan Tien - Investigator Statistics in Tho Phu commune, he is always deeply aware that he is the one who directly goes to each household to collect information recorded in the investigation form, so when assigned by the Steering Committee of the General Investigation of the commune.
"We have fully participated in professional training courses and information technology deployed by the District General Investigation Steering Committee. Up to now, we have been fully equipped and received all documents and investigation means, provided by the Commune Investigation Team Leader. With high determination, a sense of responsibility and unity, we believe that we will complete the assigned tasks well" - Mr. Tien emphasized.
As a resident living in Tho Phu commune, Thanh Hoa province, Ms. Duong Thi Phuong said that the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census is very useful. The results of the General Census help the State plan policies on rural and agricultural development and improve the standard of living of rural residents nationwide in general and in particular for Tho Phu commune.
"As citizens, we hope that through the results of the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census, the State will have a basis and an overview of the comprehensive picture of rural and agricultural areas.
Thereby, appropriate policies and guidelines for the economic and social development of the country in general and rural areas in particular are being proposed, gradually improving the lives of people in rural areas to the better" - Ms. Duong Thi Phuong hopes.
