Road degraded and flooded after rain
According to people's reflection, the road through An La 1, 2 and 3 villages of Hong Quang ward, Ninh Binh province is seriously degraded, the surface is only covered with soil, gravel, many potholes, causing traffic insecurity.
In August, Lao Dong Newspaper's reporter noted that when traveling through the road, people reported that there were continuous large potholes with stagnant water, making travel very difficult.
As a household living near this road, Mr. Mai Cong Luat (Hong Quang ward) said that this road is bumpy, many sections are full of soil, sand and gravel and some points, the road surface sinks, creating traps on the road that only need to lose focus, traffic participants will fall and collapse. When it rains heavily, there are puddles of water that are deeply submerged along the calves, while on sunny days, the dust flies everywhere, seriously affecting people's lives and traffic safety.
Similar to the worried mood, Ms. Tran Thi Mai (Hong Quang ward) said that every time she passes here, she has to proactively slow down to avoid risks. The road surface has been damaged for a long time, many sections are flooded, just a lack of observation can easily cause loss of control.
Hope the road will be repaired soon
It is known that the damage to the above road has been going on for many years but has not been completely repaired. People in An La 1 village said that the road to this village has been degraded for a long time, and people have repeatedly petitioned. People really hope that authorities at all levels will soon pay attention to implementing upgrading and repairing the road section to help people travel more safely and conveniently.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Le Van Hung - Vice Chairman of Hong Quang Ward People's Committee, Ninh Binh Province - said that the road that people reported above is about 3km long, passing through An La 1, 2 and 3 villages.
To soon renovate and upgrade the above route to help people travel conveniently, the People's Committee of Hong Quang Ward has just sent a document to the Department of Construction of Ninh Binh province proposing a list of commune-level and inter-commune routes (including the above route) to be invested in the project to upgrade local traffic effectively and adapt to climate change, using loans from the world bank.
