On April 26, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan (58 years old, residing in Muong Xen town, Ky Son district, Nghe An province) said that he is currently holding a rock with an unusual shape and nature, picked up by a local resident while wading through the stream to work in the fields.
According to observations, the rock was oval in shape, with many natural cracks on the surface of the polygonal block, black brown, and the rough surface resembling the outer shell of an fossil animal.
The stone piece is about 2530cm in size, nearly 15cm thick, and weighs up to 9kg nearly double that of another stone of the same regular size. One side of the stone has a clear, optical mineral structure, making the appearance even more mysterious.

Mr. Tuan said: About a year ago, a resident of My Ly commune, while wading through the stream, happened to see a rock with an unusual shape, so he took it home. Then this person gave it to me to keep.
My Ly commune is a mountainous commune of Ky Son district, with an area of 27.00 hectares, and a 43.5 km border with Laos.
Currently, Mr. Tuan hopes that the authorities will soon intervene in the appraisal, verification of the stone's composition, structure and origin. I want to know if this is a special mineral. If true, this could be a clue to learn more about local mineral resources" - Mr. Tuan shared.
The stone block is currently preserved by him in a glass cabinet, with no signs of mechanical intervention or chemical treatment. Many curious people came to see it with their own eyes and could not help but be surprised by the strange size and appearance of the stone.
