On January 1st, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that Dong Tien Ward Police had just continuously discovered and handled 2 cases of illegal use of fireworks exploding in the area.
Specifically, on December 30, 2025, while organizing a full-month party for his son in Van Tap 1 residential group, Dong Tien ward, Mr. Nguyen Van D. (born 1978) brought 2 fireworks to set in the middle of the road and used a lighter to set it on fire. Discovering the incident, Dong Tien Ward Police force was present, making a record of handling according to regulations.
During the working process, Dong Tien Ward Police continued to discover and seize an additional box of fireworks exploding on the car of Do Ke T. (born 1989), both residing in Van Tap 1 residential group.
Previously, Dong Tien Ward Police also discovered that while partying with a group of friends in Quyet residential group, Dong Tien ward, Dam Canh G. (born 1987, residing in Thang residential group, Dong Tien ward) went home to get a box of exploding fireworks to use.
