On August 17, authorities in Lam Dong are clarifying the traffic accident that left 1 person dead on the spot.
The accident occurred at around 3:55 p.m. the same day, on National Highway 20 through Di Linh commune (Lam Dong province).
At that time, a man driving a motorbike (identity unknown) was traveling from Lam Dong to Ho Chi Minh City.
When reaching Km 156+90 in Di Linh commune, the motorbike driven by the man suddenly fell onto the road. At this time, a sleeper bus with a Ho Chi Minh City license plate driven by Nguyen Minh T (48 years old, residing in Dong Nai) traveling in the same direction behind, unable to handle it, ran over him.
The accident caused the man driving the motorbike to die on the spot.
After the accident, the authorities of Lam Dong province and Di Linh commune were present to regulate traffic; examine the scene, and clarify the cause of the accident.
Through initial verification by the authorities, the victim was from Chau Doc ward (An Giang province) and came to Di Linh commune to work for hire.
