On the morning of March 2nd, Thanh Nhat Ward People's Committee, Dak Lak province informed that an incident had just occurred in the area where a man was swept away by water into a sewer, leading to death.
According to initial information, in the late afternoon of March 1st, after returning from work, Mr. D. V. H (temporarily residing in Thanh Nhat ward) saw heavy rain and garbage accumulating, covering the manhole in front of his house, so he went out to clear it.
While cleaning up the trash, Mr. H was unfortunately swept down the drain by the water. Discovering the incident, people and functional forces quickly organized a search, using excavators to open the drain cover to take the man out.
Mr. H was then taken to the hospital for emergency treatment but did not survive. According to research, Mr. H's family is in difficult circumstances and is renting a room in Thanh Nhat ward.
