From March 17, Ho Chi Minh City Police officially issued and changed motorcycle driving licenses at the police of 17 wards of districts and Thu Duc City, along with the police of 5 central communes of Binh Chanh, Can Gio, Cu Chi, Hoc Mon, Nha Be districts.
According to Lao Dong on the afternoon of March 17 at Binh Tho Ward Police, Thu Duc City, many people came to complete procedures to issue and change driving licenses on the first day of receiving the license from this ward. Many people were surprised because they did not have to go far and their applications were processed quickly.

Mr. Mai Van Giang (residing in Thu Duc City) said that he was very satisfied with the process of issuing and exchanging driving licenses in Binh Tho Ward. Previously, whenever he needed to complete procedures, he had to move to District 3, which took a lot of time and effort. Now, everything is much more favorable.
"It takes less than 10 minutes from my house to get here. After completing the procedure, the total completion time is only about 15 minutes. The process is very fast and not cumbersome. In particular, I appreciate the online payment via bank account, which is both convenient and enthusiastically guided, said Mr. Giang.
According to Mr. Giang, the arrangement of procedures for granting and exchanging driving licenses to wards and closer to the people is very welcome. "I would like to thank the officials of Binh Tho ward and the police force for supporting me and other people to complete the procedures quickly and effectively," Mr. Mai Van Giang shared.
As for Mr. Nguyen Manh Tung (residing in Thu Duc City), he said he was completely surprised and satisfied with the driver's license renewal process in Binh Tho Ward today. Previously, he was informed that today is the day the wards are issuing and exchanging driving licenses locally, so he arrived here at 2pm.
"I came to change my damaged A1 driver's license. The procedure was quick, and completed in just one to two hours. This made me extremely happy. I don't have to spend time, effort and money traveling. If all administrative procedures are carried out quickly like this, it will be very convenient for people, said Mr. Tung.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Bich Nguyet, Deputy Head of Binh Tho Ward Police, Thu Duc City, said that today is the first day the unit has deployed a driver's license renewal service for local people.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyet, to ensure the process went smoothly and effectively, the officers at the ward police were organized by the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police for in-depth training sessions. "The officers and soldiers have been fully equipped with knowledge of the latest regulations of the Ministry of Public Security, as well as detailed instructions on how to use specialized equipment and software to issue and change driving licenses," said Lieutenant Colonel Nguyet.
To facilitate people, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyet also noted that there are two forms of issuing and exchanging driving licenses: online through the National Public Service Portal and directly at reception points.
Although both forms have their own advantages, female police officers encourage people to prioritize the use of online public services. Because this form not only helps save time and travel costs, but also reduces the situation of large crowds at reception points.
According to statistics from the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police, as of March 14, 6,859 dossiers of direct driver's license exchange and re-issuance and 2,514 dossiers registered via Level 4 Public Service have been received.
