On December 27, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Le Thuy district (Quang Binh province) said that people had just voluntarily handed over the site to the North-South Expressway Clearance Council.
After a period of active propaganda and mobilization by the authorities, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoe and Ms. Hoang Thi Mung voluntarily handed over the land before the Le Thuy district land recovery enforcement board executed the decision to enforce the land recovery.
The project implementation unit deployed vehicles and human resources to organize construction immediately after the site was handed over.
Previously, Le Thuy district had a plan to organize compulsory land recovery for Mr. Nguyen Van Hoe and Ms. Hoang Thi Mung, residing in Phu Hoa village (Phu Thuy commune), who were using land plot No. 42, map sheet No. 1 in Phu Thuy commune, area 857.1 m2.
This land plot is identified as part of land plot No. 84, map sheet No. 1, Phu Thuy commune, which has been granted a certificate of land use rights, house ownership rights and other assets attached to the land by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.
Currently, Le Thuy district still has 1 household that has not yet handed over the land for the North-South expressway project with a length of 100m.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper had many articles related to the land clearance for the North-South Expressway through Quang Binh. Many households did not hand over the land, making the construction of this section of the route difficult.
