On December 17, information from Nhu Xuan Forest Protection Department, Thanh Hoa province said that the unit had just coordinated with Thanh Quan Commune Police to receive a white-throated chicken voluntarily handed over by the people.

Specifically, before that, Mr. Le Tuan Giang (born in 1980, residing in Na Ca 1 village, Thanh Quan commune, Thanh Hoa province) went to the forest and caught a white-legged chicken.
Immediately afterwards, realizing the importance of preserving endangered and rare wild animals, Mr. Giang voluntarily brought the rooster to hand over to the authorities.
After receiving the white-legged chicken, Nhu Xuan Forest Protection Department coordinated with Thanh Quan Commune Police to hand it over to the Wildlife Rescue Center in Ben En National Park for care and raising.
