Schools speak out about the image of boarding meals circulating online

HCMC - Trung Vuong High School has responded to the image of boarding meals appearing on social media with a large amount of spicy food.

On December 17, social networks spread content "This is a 40,000 VND meal of Trung Vuong High School (HCMC)". accompanied by images of food trays containing rice, salty foods, stir-fried vegetables.

Immediately after this content was posted, it received attention, in which many opinions said that this dish was too small, not true to the price of 40,000 VND.

On the same day, the leaders of Trung Vuong High School responded to the information being spread above.

Ms. Luong Bich Nga - Vice Principal of Trung Vuong High School, said that the school has grasped the information on social networks.

Ms. Nga said that the school's boarding meal this afternoon (December 17) with salty dishes is pork fat fried with fish sauce. However, the photos were not complete, so looking around you will see few.

The Vice Principal said that a boarding meal at the school costs 38,000 VND, not 40,000 VND as reported online.

The boarding meal menu every day always has 4 dishes for students to choose instead of just 1 dish as in the photo.

The school does not use industrial meals but cooks directly in the school's kitchen.

Ms. Nga added that the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City is also asking the school to report after receiving information from the public regarding the boarding meal.
