Motorcyclist's arm severed after accident with car

HUE - A man riding a motorbike had his arm severed after a traffic accident with a car.

At about 5:25 p.m. on November 10, at Km20+280m of National Highway 49B (in Hamlet 1, Dien Hoa Commune, Phong Dien District, Thua Thien Hue), an accident occurred between a car and a motorbike.

Initial information, car with license plate 75A-0x.xx driven by T.B.V. (born in 1998, residing in Huong Tra town, Thua Thien Hue) was traveling from Dien Hai commune to Dien Loc commune.

Upon arriving at the above location, the car collided with a motorbike with license plate 74AF-028.xx driven by a man (identity unknown).

As a result, the strong collision caused the man's left arm to be severed.

The motorcyclist is being treated in the emergency room after the accident in a state of shock, blood loss, lung contusion, and a severed upper third of his arm. Due to improper preservation of the arm, there is no indication for amputation.

Currently, authorities are investigating and clarifying the cause of the accident.
