On January 18, at Buon Ma Thuot city fair (Dak Lak province), the City Youth Union coordinated with PNJ Tay Nguyen - South Central Coast branch to organize "Zero Dong Spring Market for Tet At Ty 2025".
This activity aims to support local people in purchasing essential necessities for Tet.
The organizers issued 100 free shopping tickets, each worth 500,000 VND, to students, young people, and disadvantaged households in the city.
The supermarket has nearly 30 essential products such as rice, sugar, eggs, cooking oil, fish sauce, jam, instant noodles...
Lining up from early morning to receive necessities at 0 VND, Ms. H'Uyen, residing in Tan Lap ward, Buon Ma Thuot city, could not hide her joy.
According to Ms. H'Uyen, her family's income is unstable and they are in extremely difficult circumstances in the area. Lunar New Year is approaching, and the family of 5 has not been able to buy much.
Ms. H'Uyen shared: "These gifts will help my family save about 500,000 VND on shopping for necessities during Tet. With the money saved, I will buy new clothes for my children. This Tet is already very happy."
Mr. Tran Thieu Nha - Director of PNJ Company, Tay Nguyen - South Central Branch (and Chairman of Dak Lak Province Young Entrepreneurs Association) said: "The program demonstrates the concern of the unit and the City Youth Union for people's lives during the Lunar New Year 2025. This is a meaningful activity, arousing the spirit of mutual love and support for the community in difficult times".
