On November 18, Nhat Le Border Guard Station (Border Guard of Quang Binh province) said that a drowning incident had just occurred, causing the death of a woman.
At around 8:30 a.m. the same day, Ms. B.M.L (born in 1991, residing in Son La city, Son La province) and her husband and a friend were swimming at Nhat Le beach when they were unfortunately swept away by the water.
Upon receiving the news, Nhat Le Border Guard Station mobilized forces to coordinate the search and bring the victim ashore.
Despite emergency efforts, the victim did not survive.
Ms. L's body has been handed over to her family to be taken home for burial.
