At noon on July 15, information from the People's Committee of Nong Cong commune, Nong Cong district, Thanh Hoa province said that the authorities are verifying and clarifying the case of a woman being seriously injured by a buffalo while traveling on the road.
The incident occurred at around 9:36 a.m. on July 14, in Dong Hoa sub-region, Nong Cong commune.
According to the video recorded by the dash cam, at that time, a dreamy buffalo suddenly rushed forward and hit a woman's motorbike while participating in traffic. The strong impact caused the victim to fall onto the road.
Not stopping there, the buffalo continued to rush forward, pushing strongly into the woman's ribs, forcing the victim to stand up and run away.
A representative of the People's Committee of Nong Cong commune said that the buffalo was bought by a resident in Dong Hoa sub-region from Nghe An and locked at home. However, at the time of the incident, the buffaloes entered the barn, ran out onto the road and attacked the motorcyclist. The victim was also a local resident, residing in Dong Hoa sub-region.
According to initial information, the woman suffered a broken rib and is being treated at the hospital.
The police are continuing to investigate and clarify the incident.
