On the evening of September 27, the People's Committee of An Cuu Ward (Hue City) said that the authorities are urgently searching for a woman who was swept away by water due to heavy rain.
According to initial information, at around 3:00 p.m. the same day, Mr. Nguyen Duy H. (born in 1985) and Ms. Duong Thi H. (born in 1990, from Thanh Hoa, temporarily residing at lot 46 Nguyen Duc Canh, An Cuu Ward) walked to the bus station to return to their hometown. When she reached the top of the field, Ms. H. slipped and fell and was swept away by the water. At around 6pm, Mr. H. contacted the authorities to ask for help in the search.
Currently, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force in coordination with the An Cuu Ward Police is deploying the search. Mr. H. was taken to the police station safely.
At the same time, the authorities also supported the evacuation of many households in low-lying areas of Nguyen Huu Canh Street to safe places due to prolonged heavy rain causing deep flooding due to the impact of storm No. 10 Bualoi.
