On June 7, the People's Committee of Ward 1 reported to the People's Committee of Bao Loc City on the results of implementing the Decision forcing the implementation of remedial measures against Mr. Nguyen Viet Xuan in the field of land at Nam Phuong 1 Lake.
The report stated that over the past time, the People's Committee of Ward 1 has repeatedly asked Mr. Xuan to urgently overcome the consequences under the Decision (No. 454/QD-KPHQ dated 10.3.2025) of the People's Committee of Bao Loc City forced to take measures to overcome the consequences at the above-mentioned violation.
During the process of working, urging and mobilizing local authorities, Mr. Xuan committed to completing the remediation of the consequences before May 9, 2025.
However, after this time, Mr. Xuan has not yet fulfilled his commitments according to regulations. On the side of the People's Committee of Ward 1, Mr. Xuan was invited to participate in making a record to check the current situation and urged Mr. Xuan to take measures to overcome the consequences of the violations.
However, during the working process, Mr. Nguyen Viet Xuan left without cooperating when the authorities made a record.
Most recently, on May 29, 2025, the People's Committee of Ward 1 conducted an inspection of the implementation of Decision No. 454 of the People's Committee of Bao Loc City, but Mr. Nguyen Viet Xuan has not yet fully implemented the remedial measures according to regulations.
Currently, through inspection by local authorities and authorities, Mr. Xuan has dismantled part of the iron bridge on the water surface and moved the canoe out of the violating area.
The remaining illegal construction items and works are still intact. Mr. Xuan even maintains normal business and trading.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that Mr. Nguyen Viet Xuan, former officer of the People's Court of Bao Loc City, committed an administrative violation in the field of land.
Mr. Xuan built illegal coffee shop items on agricultural land with an area of 1,171m2. In particular, many construction items also encroach on the safety corridor of Nam Phuong 1 Lake (in Group 1, Ward 1).
According to Decision No. 454 of the People's Committee of Bao Loc City, Mr. Nguyen Viet Xuan was forced to restore the land to its original state before violating the provisions of Point a, Clause 4, Article 10 of the Decree (No. 123/2024/ND-CP dated October 4, 2014) of the Government on administrative sanctions in the field of land.
Along with that, Mr. Nguyen Viet Xuan was forced to return the illegal profits gained from committing administrative violations from December 1, 2024 to January 10, 2025, which is VND 9.979 million, as prescribed in Point b, Clause 4, Article 10 of Decree No. 123/2024/ND-CP of the Government. The duration of implementing remedial measures is 15 days, from the date of receipt of this Decision.
In case Mr. Xuan does not comply, the People's Committee of Ward 1 is responsible for coordinating with competent authorities to report to the People's Committee of Bao Loc City to issue a decision to enforce related violations according to the provisions of law.
