Binh Duong - The image of a "super thin" 3-storey house tilted attracted the attention of the people. This is a house affected during the construction of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project.

On March 25, the owner of a 3-storey house (on Hanoi Highway, in Binh Thang Ward, Di An City, Binh Duong Province) said that he was repairing the house. The house was tilted during the construction of the parallel road at Tan Van intersection under the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project through Binh Duong province.

Previously, the house was about 100m2 wide, with 1 ground floor and 3 upper floors, and about 12m high. The house is in the area of land clearance to build Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3. The area of the houses to be recovered and cleared is about 2/3 of the houses.

Currently, the width of the remaining house is about 5m, the side of the house is about 1.5m long, the other side is about 4m long.

The owner of the house said that the house was affected during the construction of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3. The remaining area of the house is currently due to the process of reducing the construction site of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3.

Mr. Tran Hung Viet - Director of the Binh Duong Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (investor of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project through Binh Duong) - said that this 3-storey house has been compensated. However, the homeowner expanded it himself.

When the construction unit built a parallel road and dug deep, the house was tilted. The locality and the investor have handled it. The owner of the household no longer has to file a lawsuit and will handle it himself.

Currently, the investor and local authorities have advised people not to stay in the house to ensure safety.

It is known that in addition to the house above, many other households were also affected when constructing the roadbed to make drainage culverts for the project. People have to climb stairs 2-4m to get to their homes.

According to Mr. Tran Hung Viet - Director of the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board of Binh Duong province, the units are speeding up the construction progress here. Currently, sewers are being installed and the water pipes are being relocated. The units are trying to speed up the construction progress to restore the road surface. It is expected to be completed around April 10-15. After that, traffic was adjusted to move onto this parallel road to construct the overpass over National Highway 1.

Later, when the road surface is restored and sidewalks are built, the height difference between houses and the road surface will be reduced.
