Residents living in the Khe Can area (Thanh Khe ward, Da Nang city) said that after the alley was raised, the current level of the house foundation is about 1m off the road surface.
According to reports, repairing and upgrading houses usually takes 4-5 months, or even longer if difficulties arise in applying for a construction permit.
Therefore, people are worried that when the rainy and storm season comes, they will not be able to handle it in time, and at the same time propose that functional agencies provide project progress information to proactively plan repairs and ensure safety.
Regarding this issue, Thanh Khe Ward People's Committee informed that the Khe Can Urban Reconstruction Project has been approved for investment policy by Da Nang City People's Committee in decision dated June 3, 2025.
On March 12, Thanh Khe Ward People's Committee issued a decision approving the Amendment of the Detailed Plan at a scale of 1/500 for the Khe Can drainage area and announced the plan on April 9.
Currently, the Ward People's Committee has assigned the Ward Public Service Service Center to coordinate with relevant units to urgently implement the project in 2026.
Regarding the application for construction, renovation, and repair of houses, the Ward People's Committee requests people to prepare dossiers and submit them at the Thanh Khe Ward Public Administration Service Center.
The dossier will be transferred to the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department of the ward for inspection, guidance and advice to the Ward People's Committee to issue construction permits according to regulations.
