On June 11, the Environmental Management Department of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Tri province said that the Quang Binh energy pellet factory (Hon La Economic Zone, Phu Trach commune) has temporarily suspended operations to implement remedial measures after the reflection of Lao Dong Newspaper.
According to functional agencies, the temporary suspension is implemented to overcome the situation of smoke, dust and noise affecting the surrounding area of the factory.

Fine dust sticks to equipment, phones and computers even after cleaning. Some hard objects such as wood chips also flew into the working area with the wind.
After the reflection, the Quang Tri Provincial Economic Zone Management Board requested the Quang Binh energy pellet factory to temporarily suspend operations to develop a remedial plan, ensuring proper operation in accordance with environmental regulations before returning to production.
