The Nhon Phu 2 Social Housing Project was approved for investment by the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province on June 1, 2023 and licensed by the Department of Construction on January 10, 2024 within the framework of the Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period 2021 - 2030" approved by the Prime Minister.
Nhon Phu 2 has a total area of 3.8 hectares, including 4 blocks from 9 to 12 floors high, with 714 apartments, area of 35.5m2 - 58m2 - 68m2.
The project has a fairly low construction density, only 40% of the area; designed by a team of Italian architects according to "green living" standards.

Binh Dinh currently has 3,459 social housing units in operation, 4,380 units under construction, and 4,159 units selecting investors or preparing to start construction. According to Director of the Department of Construction Tran Viet Bao, in 2024, the number of newly handed over social housing units will be 1,400 units. By 2030, the Binh Dinh Social Housing Program will reach the target of 20,300 units.
