On June 2, Khe Sanh Town Police (Huong Hoa District, Quang Tri Province) said they had just received and returned property to a foreign tourist whose wallet was lost in the gas station area in the area.
Specifically, at 10:00 a.m. on June 2, Ms. Ho Thi Khip (born in 1990, residing in Van Ri village, Huc commune, Huong Hoa district) went to the Khe Sanh town police station to report and hand over a leather wallet picked up at the gas station.
Inside the wallet were nearly 6 million VND in cash and many personal documents under the name Garreth Kidd (born in 1989, British nationality).
Immediately after receiving the property, Khe Sanh Town Police conducted verification and widely reported to find the owner of the property. Shortly after, Mr. Garreth Kidd was identified as the person who left the wallet and was invited to the headquarters to receive the property back.
Receiving the lost assets, Mr. Garreth Kidd sent his thanks to Ms. Ho Thi Khip and Khe Sanh Town Police. Mr. Garreth Kidd said that without Ms. Khip's heart and the sense of responsibility of the police, he would face many difficulties because he no longer had identification documents and cash.
