In the bustling atmosphere before March 4th enlistment day, in many localities of Khanh Hoa province, the image of biological brothers writing applications for military service has become a special highlight, spreading the spirit of responsibility and the aspiration to contribute of young people.
In the last days before the military service handover ceremony, many residential areas in Khanh Hoa province were busier than usual.
Besides the excitement of young people preparing to set off, there is pride mixed with emotion of families with children performing military service.
Notably, this year there have been many cases of siblings in the same family writing voluntary applications together.

In Tan Phuoc Tay village, Tu Bong commune, twin brothers Duong Tan Minh and Duong Tan Thai (18 years old) are busy completing the final tasks before leaving.
Born in a coastal countryside with many difficulties, after graduating from high school, both went to Nha Trang ward to work to help their families. When receiving the order for military service medical examination, Minh and Thai did not hesitate, and together wrote a voluntary application.
We want to train in the military environment, challenge ourselves and contribute to protecting the Fatherland," Tan Minh shared.
For Tan Thai, age 18 is a beautiful time to embark, for youth to have more signs of maturity.
That atmosphere also spread to Phuoc Thuong residential group, Nam Nha Trang ward.
Mr. Nguyen Van Han's family has two sons, Nguyen Thanh Trieu Tan (born in 2006) and Nguyen Thanh Tan Tai (born in 2007) who volunteered to join the army. Although they have stable jobs, both still identify this as the responsibility and honor of youth.
The family has revolutionary traditions, so when my children are determined to go, I am very proud," Mr. Han expressed.
In Nha Trang ward, two brothers Pham Minh Thanh (born in 2006) and Pham Minh Truong (born in 2004) - promising players of the provincial Third Division team - also temporarily put aside their passion for football to enter the military environment.
According to Minh Thanh's sharing, the military environment will help him train his bravery, discipline and become more mature.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Huynh Thuong Giang - Commander of the Military Command of Nam Nha Trang Ward, the highlight in this year's military recruitment is the pioneering and voluntary spirit of the youth. In this locality alone, more than 50% of matriculated youth have written voluntary enlistment applications.
Information from the Military Command of Khanh Hoa province said that in the 2026 military service, nearly 35% of citizens enlisting in the province wrote voluntary applications.
The rate of young people achieving health type 1 and type 2 accounts for nearly 50%. Professional and technical qualifications from intermediate to university (Army block) reach about 13.7%.
Up to this point, preparations for the 2026 Military Service Handover Ceremony at 10 locations in the province have been completed.
In the green color of the military uniform of this year's recruitment season, the image of brothers and sisters side by side on the road is not only the pride of the family but also contributes to embellishing the patriotic tradition, responsibility and aspiration to contribute of Khanh Hoa youth.
