On March 1st, information from Nghe An Provincial Police said that on March 5th, along with thousands of new recruits, 366 citizens in the province will perform the duties of the People's Police (CAND) in 2026.
Out of a total of 366 successful citizens, there are 365 men and 1 woman. Notably, the proportion of citizens with university and college degrees registering to fulfill their obligations this year is higher than in previous years.
Specifically, there are 13 citizens with university degrees (accounting for 3.55%), 12 citizens with college degrees (3.4%), 7 citizens with intermediate degrees (1.7%) and 12 citizens who are party members.
Senior Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Anh Dung - Head of the Organization and Personnel Department of Nghe An Provincial Police - said that the fact that more and more highly qualified citizens voluntarily participate in the CAND duty shows that the quality of selection continues to improve, meeting the requirements of building a clean, strong, regular, elite, and modern force.
Among the citizens admitted this year, Ms. Bui Thi Quynh is the only female citizen of Nghe An to perform the CAND duty. This female graduate just graduated from Vinh University in October 2025 and voluntarily wrote a letter to participate in the selection.
Bachelor Lang Van Khai (born 2002), residing in Quy Chau commune, after graduating from the Academy of Policy and Development, also voluntarily registered to enlist.
According to Nghe An Provincial Police, the winning citizens have completed preliminary selection and medical examination in accordance with regulations and are ready to leave on March 5.
