According to a report by the Election Commission of Nghe An province, as of 3:00 PM on March 15, in 3,116 polling stations in 130 communes and wards in the province (including 55 early voting stations), there were 2,272,510/2,345,921 voters participating in voting, reaching a rate of nearly 97%.
The Standing Agency of the Election Committee of Nghe An province assessed that the election organization work was synchronously and closely deployed by all levels and sectors from the province to the grassroots level. Propaganda and mobilization activities to participate in the election were widely implemented in many forms, contributing to raising people's awareness and responsibility in exercising their rights and obligations as citizens.
In addition, localities have arranged mobile ballot boxes to create conditions for elderly and weak voters, and sick people who cannot go to the polling station to still have the right to vote at home.
