Despite difficulties and holidays, Ring Road 1 project still maintains continuous construction, and many important items are gradually being completed.

Maintaining the pace of Ring Road 1 construction throughout the festival

In recent days, even during the April 30th and May 1st holidays, the construction site of the Ring Road 1 project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section, still maintains an urgent construction pace. The sound of machinery operating continuously, workers working tirelessly, all to ensure progress is not interrupted.

Real-world records show that many important items of the project have achieved clear progress. On some sections, the roadbed has been completed, ready to enter the first layer of asphalt concrete paving. This is considered an important milestone, contributing to shaping the road's appearance in the coming time.

To maintain progress, contractors organize construction in shifts, operating continuously day and night. The atmosphere at the construction site is always urgent, showing the high determination of the construction units.

According to Mr. Le Ba Luong - Deputy Construction Site Commander of Ring Road 1 package, even during the holidays, the labor force and machinery are still maximized.

Up to now, the drainage system on the left side of the route has completed about 90% of the volume. Currently, we are deploying construction on the right side of the De La Thanh area. The roadbed items are being paved with grade 1 crushed stone to prepare for the asphalt concrete paving stage, especially the section from Nguyen Hong to Thanh Cong. All construction teams are operating uniformly, with no interruption points" - Mr. Luong said.

Along with ensuring progress, construction units also focus on taking care of the spiritual life of workers. During holidays, the construction site still organizes small activities to encourage and create cohesion between workers and businesses. For example, workers are arranged to take a day off to organize a party on the occasion of the holiday. Although simple, this activity brings great meaning, helping workers regenerate energy and feel secure in sticking with their work.

After that, the construction teams quickly returned to normal operation, ensuring that the overall progress was not affected.

Step by step removing difficulties in material prices

Over the past time, the project implementation process has encountered many difficulties. Market fluctuations, especially gasoline and oil prices, have led to increased material and transportation costs. Some suppliers proposed price adjustments, even having to renegotiate contracts, putting pressure on contractors.

Because the project is located in the inner city, the transportation of supplies, materials and waste soil is limited. These activities are mainly carried out at night to minimize the impact on traffic.

In particular, some roads organize one-way traffic, such as the De La Thanh area, making travel difficult, many times having to go around, increasing travel time and costs.

Faced with these obstacles, relevant units are closely coordinating to gradually remove them.

Although the prices of materials and building materials fluctuate, we still proactively work with partners to harmonize the interests of all parties. Up to now, the supply is still fully guaranteed, helping the construction process to take place continuously, without interruption" - Mr. Luong said.

The Ring Road 1 project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section, is more than 2.2km long, 50m cross-section, with a total investment of more than 7,200 billion VND from the city budget. The road starts from Hoang Cau intersection (connecting Cat Linh - La Thanh - Yen Lang) and ends at Voi Phuc intersection.
