On January 10, in Luong Son district, the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Nhuan Trach Industrial Park. This is a project approved by the Prime Minister in principle for investment and approved Hoa Phu - Hoa Binh Company Limited as the Investor in Decision No. 256/QD-TT in 2022.
Nhuan Trach Industrial Park is located on the administrative boundaries of Nhuan Trach and Cu Yen communes, Luong Son district, with a scale of 213.68 hectares and a total investment of nearly 2,400 billion VND.
The project is built with the goal of becoming a model multi-industry industrial park of Hoa Binh province according to the criteria of Green - Clean - Beautiful and a destination of success for domestic and international investors.
When put into operation, Nhuan Trach Industrial Park will attract about 30,000 direct jobs and about 10,000 indirect jobs through trade and service activities with the locality and neighboring provinces.
In mid-January 2025, according to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, the Nhuan Trach Industrial Park project (Luong Son district) is located in a prime location adjacent to National Highway 6 and about 2km from Ho Chi Minh Road. In particular, the industrial park is also located on the regional traffic axis, 35km from Hoa Binh city, 45km from Hanoi capital, 60km from Noi Bai international airport and 150km from Hai Phong port. Right next to it is Luong Son Industrial Park with tens of thousands of workers working.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Anh Duc - Vice Chairman of Luong Son District People's Committee - said that the locality is currently promoting the development of more industrial parks and clusters. In particular, Nhuan Trach Industrial Park is being urgently implemented by Hoa Binh province, Luong Son district and investors.
According to Mr. Duc, after completion and attracting secondary investors, the industrial park is expected to create about 40,000 stable jobs for local people and neighboring provinces. Thereby, contributing to the economic restructuring of Hoa Binh province, increasing revenue for the State budget.
Ms. Bui Thi Huong (36 years old, residing in Lac Son district, a worker in Luong Son Industrial Park) shared that in recent years, many domestic and foreign enterprises have invested in Hoa Binh, thereby helping many people not have to go far but still have jobs.
"Hopefully, after the factory is completed, it will create many quality jobs for local people, especially workers in mountainous districts such as Da Bac, Mai Chau, Tan Lac..." - Ms. Huong said.
Similarly, Mr. Dinh Van Nam (32 years old, resident of Tan Lac district) hopes that the Nhuan Trach Industrial Park project will be completed soon so that workers in Hoa Binh who are working far away will have the opportunity to return home to work and stabilize their lives.
According to Mr. Dinh Quoc The - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Hoa Binh province, the province has 3 industrial parks in operation, creating 20,000 jobs for workers.
