The fastest ways to pay social insurance and health insurance online

Direct form

Participants submit documents and pay voluntary social insurance and health insurance according to regulations at a service organization authorized to collect social insurance and health insurance or the social insurance agency where they reside or temporarily reside.

Online form

Participants do not need to go directly to the Social Insurance agency or a service organization authorized to collect social insurance and health insurance but can pay and pay voluntary social insurance and household health insurance online through the Vietnam Social Insurance Public Service Portal (DVC) or the National DVC Portal with a highly automated process; or on the online application of some banks to ensure quick and convenient transactions.

Participants can carry out procedures on the National Portal at:

The cases of application include: Registering to participate in the first voluntary social insurance; Contributing to voluntary social insurance; renewing health insurance cards by household (including cases with reduced payment level; no reduction in payment level).

To continue to facilitate household health insurance participants, Vietnam Social Insurance is currently actively coordinating with the Ministry of Public Security to exploit Household data to serve the implementation of DVCs for Registration to participate in health insurance by household (for new participants).

+ Through online applications of 5 banks

Currently, Vietnam Social Security has signed bilateral electronic payment agreements with 5 banking systems, including: Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank), Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB), Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank), Vietnam Industrial and Commercial Bank (Vietinbank) to create maximum convenience for people and businesses in participating and enjoying social insurance and health insurance policies in the spirit of the Government's direction on promoting cashless payments.

Participants can perform social insurance and health insurance transactions right on the online application of these banks with simple, easy-to-perform operations. Applicable cases include: Continued voluntary social insurance payment; Ministry of Health Insurance card renewal for households without deduction of contribution level.

Payment and payment of voluntary social insurance and household health insurance on the online application of banks are carried out in the following steps:

Step 1: Log in to the bank's application, find the Social Insurance section (depending on the interface of the applications, this section can be in the Payment or State Budget section).

Step 2: Selecting the type of service you want to perform is to pay voluntary social insurance or extend the health insurance card; select the subjects submitted to individuals or organizations; select provinces and cities where registered to pay voluntary social insurance/health insurance; enter the number of social insurance books/ health insurance card number or code of social insurance subjects if the subject is submitted to be organized; Check and confirm payment information.

Step 3: Enter the OTP code sent by the Bank to complete the transaction.
