Information from the Social Insurance (SI) of Lang Son province said that from April 25 to 28, the unit has implemented the payment of pensions and social insurance benefits for May 2025 to beneficiaries throughout the area.
Accordingly, those who receive pensions and allowances through bank accounts will be paid from April 25. In case of receipt in cash, the payment will last until April 28.
It is expected that in this period, the whole province will have 17,477 people receiving through bank accounts with a total amount of more than 117 billion VND, and 12,775 people receiving in cash with an amount of over 65.8 billion VND.
On the first day, 2,556 people received pensions and allowances with a total amount of more than 13.4 billion VND.
Currently, the provincial Social Insurance coordinates with relevant units to monitor cash payment points, ensuring the correct subjects, sufficient amount of money, and avoid errors and congestion.
At the same time, the Social Insurance agency has promoted communication about the benefits of receiving pensions and subsidies through personal accounts to promote the conversion of receipt forms, contributing to modernizing social security payments.
According to the provincial Social Insurance, early payment of pensions and social insurance benefits helps beneficiaries, especially the elderly and people in difficult circumstances, receive a stable source of income and can comfortably celebrate the upcoming holidays.
