Thu Thiem 1 Bridge
Thu Thiem 1 Bridge connects Thu Duc City (formerly) and Binh Thanh district (formerly). Thu Thiem 1 Bridge has 6 lanes connecting Thu Thiem Urban Area with the center of Ho Chi Minh City, which has been put into use since the end of 2007.
The starting point of the project intersects Ngo Tat To street with Nguyen Huu Canh street (Ward 22, Binh Thanh district before). The ending point of the project connects with Luong Dinh Cua street (Thu Duc city before).
Ba Son Bridge
In April 2022, Ba Son bridge was officially opened to traffic and put into use until now. The bridge is nearly 1.5 km long, 6 lanes, spanning the Saigon River, considered a new architectural symbol of Ho Chi Minh City.
The project has a total investment of 3,100 billion VND. The project starts at the intersection of Ton Duc Thang - Le Duan (former District 1), crossing the Saigon River and connecting the Ring Road (R1 route) in Thu Thiem New Urban Area.
The opening of the project helps to open up more directions connecting the existing central area through the new center - Thu Thiem urban area, reducing congestion for Ton Duc Thang street. With outstanding architecture and aesthetic lighting system, the project is a highlight on the Saigon River.
Thu Thiem 3 Bridge
Thu Thiem 3 bridge project starts from Ton Dan street through Nguyen Tat Thanh street, Nha Rong - Khanh Hoi port land area (formerly District 4) and ends at the Arc Avenue of Thu Thiem New Urban Area.
When completed, this bridge will help connect more quickly between District 4 (formerly) and Thu Duc City (formerly), reducing traffic pressure for the central area.
Saigon River pedestrian bridge
After 9 months of construction, the pedestrian bridge across the Saigon River worth nearly 1,000 billion VND has formed core items.
With a total length of 400 m and a width of 4.5 m, the pedestrian bridge across the Saigon River has a unique design inspired by the shape of water coconut leaves - a familiar image of the Southern region.
This project with a total investment of nearly 1,000 billion VND is expected to become a cultural brick, connecting the historical space of District 1 (formerly) with the dynamism of Thu Duc City (formerly). It is expected that the project will be inaugurated on April 30, 2026.
Thu Thiem 4 Bridge
Thu Thiem 4 bridge over the Saigon River connecting the South with the East, with a total investment of more than 5,000 billion VND, is expected to start construction in 2026 and be completed in 2028.
According to the proposal, the Thu Thiem 4 bridge project has a total length of about 2.16 km, of which the bridge section is about 1.635 km long. The bridge is designed with a scale of 8 lanes, including 6 motorized lanes and 2 mixed lanes.
The starting point of the project is on Nguyen Van Linh street, the area intersecting with Tan Thuan 2 bridge (Tan Thuan ward), the ending point connecting to Nguyen Co Thach street (North - South axis) belonging to Thu Thiem New Urban Area (An Khanh ward).
When completed, the project will contribute to reducing pressure on many key traffic axes such as Ton Duc Thang, Nguyen Tat Thanh roads, Khanh Hoi bridge, Huynh Tan Phat - Nguyen Van Linh axis and Tan Thuan industrial park area.
