Ho Chi Minh City builds a new administrative center for 7,000 officials in Thu Thiem
The above policy was agreed upon by the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee at the 3rd Conference, held on the morning of January 7.
According to the proposed plan, the new political and administrative center has a scale of about 26 floors, including a 6-story base block and a 20-story tower block.
The project is designed in the shape of an arc, embracing the central space axis, directly connected to the square and the theater area, creating architectural highlights for Thu Thiem city. See more...

Can Gio - Vung Tau sea crossing has an underground section under the seabed
The sea crossing project connecting Can Gio with Vung Tau will go above the sea surface and underground at the seabed, applying technology similar to Thu Thiem tunnel.
The Can Gio - Vung Tau sea crossing project was proposed by the investor to start construction in June 2026, complete and put into operation in the second quarter of 2029.
The starting point of the project is Bien Dong 2 road, belonging to Can Gio sea encroachment urban area; the ending point connects the Mai Sao - Ben Dinh planned road, intersecting with 30/4 road in Vung Tau. The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training officially announced the project to arrange public non-business units directly under the Department, submitting it to the People's Committee for consideration and approval.
According to the official project, after arrangement, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training (GDDT) will have 236 public non-business units directly under it, a reduction of 15 units.
