Ho Chi Minh City removes obstacles to compensation and resettlement work in Thu Thiem
Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee organized a reception for representatives of households with complaints, petitions, and reflections related to Thu Thiem New Urban Area (KDTM) on December 29, 2025.
At the reception, leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee frankly acknowledged the shortcomings pointed out by the Government Inspectorate in the project implementation process. Tan Son Nhat Airport serves nearly 120,000 passengers on January 2nd
On the second day of the new year 2026, passenger traffic through Tan Son Nhat International Airport still maintained a high level. Statistics show a notable shift when the number of international departing passengers skyrocketed, surpassing the number of domestic passengers.
According to a report from the Tan Son Nhat Airport Operations Center, the operating plan on January 2 recorded a total of 749 flights taking off and landing, transporting 119,874 passengers. Ho Chi Minh City traffic police warn of traffic accidents due to subjectivity during holidays and Tet
On January 2, the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of Ho Chi Minh City Police (PC08) said that in the early days of 2026, in some suburban areas of Ho Chi Minh City, many serious traffic accidents occurred, causing damage to people and property.
Through analysis, the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police force determined that the main cause stemmed from subjectivity and disregard for safety regulations when driving vehicles.
According to statistics, during the Tet holidays, about 48% of traffic accidents (TNGT) occur due to drivers not paying attention to observation, not keeping safe distances; about 36% of cases originate from acts of going in the wrong lane, lane, changing direction and overtaking vehicles not in accordance with regulations. Young man playing badminton suddenly loses consciousness quickly
Mr. L.V.H (32 years old, Binh Trung ward, Ho Chi Minh City), as usual, played badminton with a few colleagues at a practice yard in An Khanh ward, Ho Chi Minh City. After playing badminton for about 30 minutes, Mr. H. suddenly felt nervous, dizzy, short of breath and severe pain in the chest area and quickly lost consciousness. Mr. H. was immediately taken to the nearest hospital by his badminton friends.
When arriving at the hospital, Mr. H. fainted and lost consciousness, stopped circulating. Immediately, Mr. H. was diagnosed with ventricular arrhythmia, had his lungs and heart revived, and the inter-hospital red alert was activated with Gia Dinh People's Hospital. See more...
