Initial information, at about 5:40 am, in the area of DT7/11 light pole on Nga Tu Vong overpass (direction from the center to Giap Bat Bus Station), a chain traffic accident occurred between 3 cars and a motorbike traveling in the same direction.
At the above time, a car driven by Ms. P.T.T (born in 1973, residing in Hanoi) was traveling on the Nga Tu Vong overpass (direction from Phuong Mai to Nguyen An Ninh).
When arriving at the DT7/11 light pole area, this car collided with a motorbike driven by Mr. T.T.H (born in 1963, residing in Hanoi).
After the collision, the car continued to crash into the car driven by Mr. N.V.D (born in 1979, residing in Hai Phong) and the car driven by Mr. N.V.M, which were traveling in the same direction before stopping.
The accident killed Mr. T.T.H, the motorbike driver, on the spot.
All vehicles were damaged, fragments scattered within a radius of about 15 m.
To resolve the accident, the police had to close the lane to move up the overpass, causing traffic congestion in the area during morning rush hour.
The case is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
