Imprints of the historic groundbreaking day
Hanoi is a bright spot with the simultaneous start of many large projects, with a total estimated investment of millions of billions of VND, including important works from transportation, urban areas to public spaces.
The Hanoi City Government has made continuous efforts to create a new urban space, affirming its strategic vision in planning and developing the capital. The projects started on this day are not only of infrastructure nature, but also have great significance in improving the quality of life, improving the environment and promoting sustainable economic growth.

One of the important projects that has started construction is the Red River Landscape Avenue Construction Investment Project. This project is considered a "Red River miracle" of the capital, with a total investment of up to 855,000 billion VND and will extend from Hong Ha bridge to Me So bridge. With an implementation area of about 11,000 hectares, the project will not only build a modern boulevard but also form an ecological urban space along both banks of the Red River. This project has the participation of major investors such as: Dai Quang Minh, Van Phu, MIK Group, Thaco, T&T Group, and Hoa Phat.
Mr. Vu Dai Thang - Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee - affirmed: "The Red River Landscape Axis Project is a strategic step to improve urban infrastructure along the river, creating development momentum not only for Hanoi but also for the entire Red River Delta region. This is an iconic project, contributing to the reconstruction of urban space, promoting economic development and improving the quality of life of the people of the capital".
Mr. Thang also emphasized that Hanoi will not only be a city with modern infrastructure but also a city with high quality of life, preserving traditional cultural values in a modern urban space. "This project is not only meaningful in terms of transport infrastructure, but also creates a beautiful cultural, ecological and landscape space, serving future generations" - Mr. Thang said.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, when attending the groundbreaking ceremony, also emphasized: "This is a symbol of sustainable development, while affirming the determination of the Party, State and city government in developing Hanoi into a green, modern and dynamic city".

Urban railway and multi-dimensional infrastructure connection
In addition to landscape works and public spaces, Hanoi also simultaneously implements modern transportation projects, including urban railway lines such as the Urban Railway Project Line 5 (Van Cao - Ngoc Khanh - Lang - Hoa Lac). This is one of the important metro lines connecting the central area with the suburbs of the capital. The project has a total investment of more than 72,000 billion VND and a length of about 40km, promising to solve the problem of traffic congestion and reduce pressure on the road system.
Also on the same day, phase 1 of the route connecting Gia Binh airport - Hanoi capital with a total length of about 41.316km, with a total investment of up to VND 83,000 billion was started. This is a vital traffic route at the Northeast gateway of the capital, contributing to completing the external traffic network, reducing the load on Noi Bai International Airport and opening up new space for socio-economic development for the gateway area of the capital.

Towards a multi-functional urban ecosystem
Hanoi is also focusing on developing multi-functional urban areas, notably the Olympic Sports Urban Area Project. With a total investment of more than VND 925,000 billion, this project will create the most modern urban area in Vietnam, integrating sports, culture, services and residential areas. This will be an international sports center, with the highlight being Trong Dong Stadium with a capacity of up to 135,000 seats, the largest stadium in Vietnam and one of the international-class stadiums.
In addition to sports facilities, the project also includes high-end residential areas, commercial service areas, tourism and amusement parks, creating an ideal living space for Hanoi residents. These new urban areas will become attractive destinations for domestic and foreign investors, contributing to promoting the strong development of the capital's economy in the future.
Attending the groundbreaking ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed: The socio-economic infrastructure projects and works that were started and inaugurated in the past and at today's ceremony have demonstrated the thinking, vision and aspiration to reach far out to the ocean, go deep under the ground and fly high into the universe of the people and people of Vietnam.
These are the important premises and foundations for a synchronous and modern infrastructure system, meeting the development requirements of the country in the new era; are important " chains" contributing to creating a peaceful - stable - integrated - rich - prosperous - civilized - prosperous - happy Vietnam, firmly moving towards socialism".
One of the notable points in these projects is the focus on sustainable development, especially the creation of green spaces, parks and community living areas. The To Lich Riverside Park project, with a total investment of more than VND 4,665 billion, is a typical example. The project not only improves the living environment but also creates a space for entertainment and relaxation for people, while helping to revive one of the historic rivers of the capital.
With works such as parks, scenic spots, boat docks and entertainment areas, the space along the To Lich River will become an ideal destination for people and tourists, and at the same time a new symbol of the Capital in combining heritage conservation and sustainable development.
The projects started in Hanoi not only change the urban space but also contribute to creating a strong development momentum for the capital. These projects will form new economic centers, promoting the growth of industry, trade and services. At the same time, they also contribute to improving the quality of life of people through green spaces, parks and modern transport infrastructure.
These projects will create new opportunities for businesses and investors, promote sustainable development, and enhance Hanoi's competitiveness in the region and the world.
