These days, in front of Ms. Nguyen Phuong Anh's fashion store (No. 610 Bac Kan Street, Thai Nguyen) suddenly became bustling.
From morning to night, groups of people were packed with people choosing essential items after the flood. This is one of the 0 VND booths in Thai Nguyen.
Ms. Phuong Anh said that after the floodwaters receded, she decided to open a 0 VND booth to support people with necessary items. Mainly men's and women's clothing of all kinds, books, blankets, and bowls.

"When the floodwaters rose, I saw a male student passing by the store wearing a dress because his clothes were swept away by the flood, which made me feel heartbroken. The clothes seller gave him 2 temporary dresses. Realizing that many people had all their belongings and clothes swept away, I opened a free booth.
At first, I took out the items from the house to give to everyone, then many people donated and supported, so I also got a lot of items," said Ms. Phuong Anh.
According to Ms. Phuong Anh, most of the people coming to get the goods are workers and students. Not only in the central area of the province, but also in neighboring communes, many people come to get goods. Yesterday, many people also came from Bac Kan (old) to get their things. After the flood, there are still many very difficult circumstances that need help.

According to the woman, the 0 VND booth is expected to open until October 20. If the demand is still there, she will open until the end of the month to serve the people. After the flood, humanity was ignited by small, meaningful actions.
The image of people choosing essential items also appeared in front of Kim Ngan supermarket (No. 650 Duong Tu Minh street). Ms. Do Lan - the booth owner - said: "Each person contributes a small amount to those in need to get it. Joining hands to help everyone overcome difficulties together".
The demand from everyone is really huge. Many people lost all their assets, belongings, and clothes after just one flood. The 0 VND stalls are all bustling, many of which are truly unfortunate. Hopefully everyone will soon overcome this stage, Ms. Do Lan said.

The flood in Thai Nguyen occurred from the night of October 6. The water level of the Cau River rose above the historical threshold of 2024, leaving many people unable to react. Floodwaters submerged the central area and some neighboring communes. In an instant, many families were left penniless. The total damage to the province is estimated at over VND 12,000 billion.
Ms. Nguyen Thai Ha (Phan Dinh Phung ward) choked up: "I went to the 0 VND booth to ask for some clothes and books for my child. The floodwaters rose so high that everything was ruined. 0 VND stalls like this are extremely meaningful at the moment. I am really touched and grateful to everyone".
