On the morning of August 26, after a night of activities and fighting, storm No. 5 moved to another area, leaving behind a scene of chaos and devastation with not simple damage.

The streets of Vinh City (old) are littered with fallen trees, corrugated iron roofs, advertising signs flying all over, many roads are congested and paralyzed, making it impossible to travel.
Many houses were flooded, had their roofs blown off, windows broken, ceilings damaged, furniture... and struggled to hold on all night.

"I have never seen such a terrible storm like now, my house's windows are broken, I can't sleep all night, I'm very worried" - Ms. Dang Thanh Huong, a household living in an apartment complex in Vinh Hung ward (Nghe An) shared.

In many other localities, flooding, fallen trees, crops, damaged houses, landslides were recorded...

"Currently, authorities and localities are focusing all their efforts to overcome the consequences, prioritizing number 1 is the safety of people's lives and property, ensuring smooth traffic and communication, the damage figure will be updated later" - Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh shared.
