Hong Ha bridge across the Red River belongs to a public investment sub-project in component project 3 of the Ring Road 4 project in Hanoi Capital region.
The project has a length of about 4.377km, crossing the Ta Hong and Huu Hong dikes, with the starting point of the route in Me Linh commune, and the ending point in O Dien commune.
The construction value of Hong Ha bridge is about 4, 273 billion VND.
Regarding site clearance, the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that so far Me Linh and O Dien communes have handed over sufficient ground to the project enterprise.
According to Lao Dong's records, after nearly 10 months of construction (October 31, 2025), Hong Ha bridge belonging to the Ring Road 4 project in the Capital region has gradually taken shape.
Looking from above, hundreds of drilled piles, pillars and body pillars of the project have been completed.
At the construction site, the construction atmosphere is urgent with many construction teams being deployed simultaneously. A series of machinery and equipment are continuously operating, serving the construction stages of foundations, piers and bridge structures. Workers are arranged in many positions, coordinating to deploy items according to schedule.
The Hong Ha bridge project currently reaches about 40% of the volume. Contractors are mobilizing manpower, machinery, and equipment to accelerate construction progress.
The project is expected to be completed in 2027.
Bridges such as Hong Ha and Me So belonging to Ring Road 4, when completed, will strengthen inter-regional connectivity, shorten travel time between Hanoi and Hung Yen and Bac Ninh provinces, and reduce the load on existing bridges such as Thanh Tri, Vinh Tuy, Thang Long. The new bridge system is also closely linked to ring roads and expressways, contributing to the formation of a synchronous traffic network.
