On July 7, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province said that the Provincial People's Committee had issued an official dispatch reporting to the Ministry of Construction on the plan to deploy a resettlement area and carry out site clearance for the High-speed Railway project on the North-South axis through Thanh Hoa province.
The high-speed railway project on the North-South axis was decided by the National Assembly in the investment policy in Resolution No. 172/2024/QH15 dated November 30, 2024, the section passing through Thanh Hoa province is about 95.33km long (Km113+800 - Km209+130) passing through 7 districts, towns and cities (18 communes and wards after the consolidation of local government at 2 levels), including: Bim Son ward, Quang Trung ward; Hoat Giang commune, Ha Trung commune; Trieu Loc commune; Hoang Phu commune, Hoang Giang commune; Ham Rong ward, Dong Tien ward, Dong Son ward, Dong Quang ward; Trung Chinh commune, Trung Loi commune, Nong Cong Cong Cong commune, Binh Thang commune, Cong Chinh commune; Lam Truong commune, Lam Truong commune.
Currently, localities are organizing the implementation of investment in 39 resettlement areas (TDC) in 16 communes and wards after the consolidation of 2-level local governments with a total area of 287.14 hectares, with a total implementation cost of about 3,752 billion VND.
To date, the infrastructure of 1 resettlement area in My Phong village, Cong Chinh commune, Nong Cong district has been completed; procedures have been completed and the design is approved and 5 areas are being cleared; detailed planning (GHPCT) has been completed and 5 projects are being implemented; detailed planning for 26 areas is being prepared and people are being consulted on the location of the 2 resettlement areas.
Resettlement areas in communes and wards after the consolidation of the two-level local government where the high-speed railway passes through are as follows:
The section through Bim Son ward: Arrange a resettlement area with a scale of 3.0 hectares, estimated construction cost of about 50 billion VND.
The section through Ha Trung commune is arranged with 5 resettlement areas with a scale of 24.64 hectares, with an estimated construction cost of about 244.9 billion VND.
The section through Trieu Loc commune is arranged with 2 resettlement areas with a scale of 15.8 hectares, with an estimated construction cost of about 157 billion VND.
The section through Hoang Phu commune is arranged with 5 resettlement areas with a scale of 16.26 hectares, with an estimated construction cost of about 161.6 billion VND.
The section through Hoang Giang commune is arranged with 3 resettlement areas with a scale of 10.45 hectares; the estimated construction cost is about 103.8 billion VND.
The section through Ham Rong ward has 2 resettlement areas with a scale of 47.61 hectares; the estimated construction cost is about 793.9 billion VND.
The section through Dong Tien ward is arranged with 2 resettlement areas with a scale of 17.54 hectares; the estimated construction cost is about 292.5 billion VND.
The section through Dong Son ward will have a Dong Tan resettlement area with a scale of 17.79 hectares; the estimated construction cost is about 296.6 billion VND.
The section through Dong Quang ward is arranged with 3 resettlement areas with a scale of 37.05 hectares; the estimated construction cost is about 617.8 billion VND.
The section through Trung Chinh commune is arranged with 3 resettlement areas with a scale of 20.98 hectares; the estimated construction cost is about 208.5 billion VND.
The section through Thang Loi commune is arranged with 2 resettlement areas with a scale of 20.98 hectares; the estimated construction cost is about 116.4 billion VND.
The section through Nong Cong commune is arranged with 2 resettlement areas with a scale of 21.02 hectares; the estimated construction cost is about 208.9 billion VND.
The section through Thang Binh commune is arranged with a resettlement area with a scale of 8.81 hectares; the estimated construction cost is about 87.5 billion VND.
The section through Cong Chinh commune is arranged with 3 resettlement areas with a scale of 24.08 hectares; the estimated construction cost is about 239.2 billion VND.
The section through Truc Lam ward has 02 resettlement areas with a scale of 2.6 hectares; the estimated construction cost is about 43.4 billion VND.
The section through Truong Lam commune is arranged with 2 resettlement areas with a scale of 7.8 hectares; the estimated construction cost is about 130.1 billion VND.
