The new North-South high-speed railway section passing through Ninh Binh province has a total length of about 86km, passing through 21 communes and wards (12 wards and 9 communes) with 3 stations (including Phu Ly station, Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh) and 3 maintenance stations (in Binh Son commune, Lien Minh commune and Yen Thang ward).
The communes and wards of the new Ninh Binh province after the merger have the North-South high-speed railway line passing through, including: Dong Hoa Lu, Nam Hoa Lu, Trung Son, Yen Thang, Liem Tuyen, Ha Nam, Tien Son, Dong Van, My Loc, Dong A, Thanh Nam and Truong Thi wards.
The communes include: Lien Minh, Yen Cuong, Yen Dong, Thanh Binh, Liem Ha, Binh An, Binh Son, Binh My and Binh Giang.
According to the representative of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee, the total recovered area is about 612.4 hectares, of which residential land is 36.47 hectares; agricultural land of all kinds is 513.3 hectares; forest land of all kinds is 11.15 hectares and other land is 51.49 hectares.
The locality will arrange 27 resettlement points for the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis through the new Ninh Binh province.
At the same time, implement the planning of exploiting land funds in the area around the station according to the TOD model (urban development model according to the orientation of public transport development).
Ninh Binh province also prioritizes resources to deploy the construction of the North-South expressway connecting the East, national highways, provincial roads with the high-speed railway station area.
