Bustling from urban areas to border villages
In just a few days, voters nationwide will enter the day of the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
In Lang Son, the atmosphere is spreading widely. In Dong Kinh ward - one of the most populous areas of the city, preparations have been deployed early and methodically.


Mr. Tran Tho Khanh - Chairman of Dong Kinh Ward People's Committee - said that this year the locality focuses on improving the quality of preparation work, especially the application of information technology in voter data management.
According to Mr. Khanh, the voter list has been reviewed many rounds and compared with population data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
The polling stations have been fully prepared with tables, chairs, ballot boxes, signs and festive decorations.
The ward also developed a plan to ensure continuous electricity, prepare backup equipment, arrange on-duty medical forces and inspect fire safety at all points mentioned above," Mr. Khanh said.
In parallel with that, security and order assurance work is being implemented closely.
Lieutenant Colonel Le Viet Lam - Head of Dong Kinh Ward Police - said that the police force has developed plans to ensure absolute safety for the election.

We determine that we must proactively prevent early, not to let passive or unexpected situations occur; and at the same time create a favorable environment for voters to participate in the election in a joyful and excited atmosphere," Senior Lieutenant Colonel Lam emphasized.
Not only in urban areas, but also in rural communes and border areas, preparation work is also being implemented synchronously.
In Loc Binh commune, Mr. Trinh Tuan Dong - Secretary of Loc Binh commune - said that the locality has identified this as a particularly important political task, so the preparation work is being implemented seriously and in accordance with regulations.
Accordingly, the commune has fully established organizations in charge of elections such as the Steering Committee, Election Committee and election teams, ensuring synchronous deployment from the commune to 39 villages in the area.

We clearly assign the responsibilities of each comrade in the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee to be in charge of the area and field; and at the same time direct the political system to participate synchronously and unifiedly from awareness to action," Mr. Dong said.
In Na Sam commune, the atmosphere towards the election day spread throughout the villages. Roads are decorated with flags and flowers, propaganda banners, creating a bustling atmosphere before the big festival.
Mr. Do Minh Tuan - Secretary of the Party Committee of Na Sam commune - said that information and propaganda work is particularly focused on by the locality to help people understand the meaning of the "big festival".
Notably, at the Zalo groups of each village, documents are also shared with QR codes for people to easily look up.
Sending faith in every vote
For many young voters, this election is of special significance.
Voter Chu Ngoc Son (born in 2006, Tay ethnicity, residing in hamlet 2, Na Sam commune) said that this is the first time he has participated in voting, so he feels very honored.


Participating in the election is not only a right but also a responsibility of every citizen. I really hope to directly select delegates who represent the voice of the people," Son shared.
Not only young people, but many other voters also place their expectations on the team of elected representatives for the new term.
Voter Trinh Thi Xoi (village 1, Na Sam commune) expressed her wish that delegates after being elected will maintain close contact with voters, listen to and promptly reflect the thoughts and legitimate aspirations of the People.

Meanwhile, Ms. Nong Thi Thanh Huyen - a worker at Bao Long Co., Ltd. - said that workers want delegates to pay more attention to workers' lives, especially policies related to income and welfare.
According to statistics, Lang Son province currently has more than 600,000 voters. The whole province has 3 units for election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term, 13 units for election of provincial People's Council deputies, 328 units for election of commune-level People's Council deputies with 1,419 electoral groups.
